My name is Rylana Townsend, an artist from Maastricht, a passionate animal lover and someone with a fascination for fly agarics (red mushrooms with white spots). Using pouring and texture techniques, I create both permanent collections and custom-made artworks.
a journey begins
In 2021, I created this first pouring artwork for a dear friend who believed in me when I was still filled with doubt. This triptych, painted in earthy tones of beige, green, brown and white, marked the beginning of my fluid art journey. This piece not only reflects the beauty of nature but also the power of friendship and belief in oneself.
